I've been going through all my accounts making sure my beneficiaries are set up properly. When I got to Ally Investment, which is via Apex, I found there is no way to determine if there are beneficiaries on the account. Also, to set up a beneficiary, you have to mail or fax a form, complete with full address and social security numbers of the beneficiaries. This seems unsafe to me. My Robinhood account, which also uses Apex, has my beneficiaries listed and they are editable online. Anyone know why Ally makes this process so cumbersome and if there is possibly an easier way to deal with setting up beneficiaries? #business source
