𝗟𝗘𝗧 𝗠𝗬 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘 𝗚𝗢 - a speech by #Batman ➡ My fellow citizens of Tangled, I want to share with you some important lessons I learned from my recent encounter with Moses. His story of leading the Hebrew people out of Egypt serves as an inspiration for how we can free ourselves from psychological and social tyranny, even if we don't necessarily see ourselves as oppressed. 1️⃣ 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 ▪ The first step to freedom is to recognize your prison, and to have the courage to leave it behind, even if it is comfortable. Just like the Hebrew people, who had become accustomed to their life in slavery, we too can become complacent in our current situation, even if it is not truly fulfilling. It takes courage to recognize when we are not truly free, and to take the necessary steps to break free from our prison. But just like Moses, who had to confront Pharaoh, we must also be willing to face the challenges and obstacles that stand in our way. 2️⃣ 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱-𝗢𝗻 ▪ Moses did not shy away from confronting Pharaoh, even though he was a powerful ruler with many resources at his disposal. Moses stood up to Pharaoh and demanded that the Hebrew people be released from slavery. In our own lives, we too may face powerful people or issues that seem insurmountable. But we must follow Moses' example and face them head-on. We must be willing to take risks and stand up for what we believe in, even if it seems impossible. 3️⃣ 𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗨𝗽 ▪ One of the most inspiring moments in the story of the Hebrew people's liberation is when they come to the edge of the Red Sea, with Pharaoh's army hot on their heels. In that moment, they could have given up and surrendered to their oppressors. But Moses did not give up. He had faith that there was a way forward, and he found it. Just like the Hebrew people, we too may face seemingly insurmountable challenges. But we must remember that there is always a solution, even if it is not immediately apparent. ➡ So, my fellow citizens of Tangled, let us learn from the story of Moses and the Hebrew people. Let us recognize our prisons and have the courage to leave them behind, even if it is uncomfortable. Let us face our challenges head-on, just like Moses confronted Pharaoh. And let us never give up, even if we are facing the sea, knowing that there is always a solution.
