It didn't rain for two months, and the temperature was extremely high; they went swimming every other day; otherwise, they wouldn't have survived.
We always waited 1 day because of their fur. Then we only went for a walk late at night, but it was still hot; at least the sun wasn't shining anymore.
It was a hard summer for them. It's been a long time since we've had such prolonged African heat here. For them, the ideal temperature is max. 20 degrees.
