Job chances in Germany as non-EU citizen

Hi all!

I'm a Brit who's looking to emigrate to Germany to bridge the gap with my German partner of 5 years. However, both of us are confused as to what kind of jobs I can look into to facilitate moving there. I'd be based in Baden-Württemberg.

I hold a master's (English Lit) and have 8 years of experience working in admin (3 of those at a global Law Firm), but I've also got experience in customer service and previously did an internship in publishing. My German is currently B1 (certified with Goethe Institut last summer) and will likely be strong B2 if I aim to move there at the end of this year.

I briefly considered getting a TEFL certificate and maybe teaching English at a local VHS, but it seems like job opportunities are thin on the ground and are often freelance, which would prevent (or make it harder?) for me to get a Visa. In the meantime I've been looking for any sort of English-speaking jobs in content writing, copywriting, etc, but there doesn't seem to be much demand for that either.

My question is: what do my chances look like? Is there are particular field that I could look into? I don't have much money or time to requalify into another profession, but I've not completely written the idea off either.

Thank you in advance!
