Faye's Serpent Bow
Santa Monica Studio also provided a closer look at Faye's Serpent Bow , an enchanted weapon that can shift into the form of a serpent. The bow can quickly transition from a dormant state into an attack-ready position, allowing Faye to combine ranged attacks with her melee abilities.
The Serpent Bow features two different firing modes.
Full-Aim Mode allows Faye to precisely target enemies and increase her draw distance. Striking specific points on an enemy can impair their movement or ability to attack, creating opportunities for follow-up melee attacks.
Faye can also charge the bow while aiming and stack up to five arrows for a powerful volley. This can be particularly useful when combined with Phranque's ability to launch enemies into the air.
Hip-Fire Mode
A half-press of the aim trigger puts Faye into a more mobile hip-fire stance . From here, she can rapidly fire clusters of arrows at close-range enemies.
The Serpent Bow's quick-fire attacks can also be used to juggle airborne enemies and extend combos while Faye switches between her weapons and abilities.
