Thank you to the thoughtful ones
Hey all, I am an occasional lurker on this sub. I wanted to say thank you to the people who take the time to actually think through problems and try to find reasonable solutions. To spitball ideas, and to thoughtfully go over consequences.
I am not politically aligned with this sub, but it gives me things to think about and sometimes even changes my mind. (I.e. gains should be recognized if a loan is taken against stock, to prevent rich people from avoiding taxes. I added it to my list of things I talk to politicians and voters about.)
I know taking the time to consider things and write up stuff, especially in a way that doesn't assume the reader agrees with your basic beliefs, can often feel like spitting in the wind. However, I thank you for doing it. Keep up the fight for workers rights!!
P. S. I read the rules for the sub, from what I saw I am not breaking any rules, if I am, sorry mods for wasting your time.
