Mewtwo: 20''x24'' acrylic canvas painting by me
I started working on this painting a few weeks ago, but made most of the major progress during last weekend. The background swirl effect was achieved with by mixing blue, purple, pink, white, and black paints with special chemicals and poured onto the canvas. The source image was a photo I shot of my Mewtwo figurine.
I really didn't like the way Mewtwo's left hand \[the fist\] turned out, and had to repaint it. Also I think I went overboard with the pink lighting, which was a final addition, and in hindsight would have probably toned it down or just omitted it completely.
