Should we purchase the furniture protection plan?
We are buying a leather sectional from La-Z-Boy, and they offer a protection plan through ServeCo. The plan costs 18% of the total sectional price, and covers all accidental damage, stains, etc. for 5 years - including pet damage. They will clean or repair damage, and replace if repair is not possible.
We have 2 large breed adult dogs that are admittedly not very gentle with our current furniture (we’re working on this).
We don’t have kids yet, but most of our friends have young kids and they all come over occasionally. We plan on having our own kids within the next few years. We also host family for most holidays.
Should we buy the protection plan?
TLDR: Purchasing leather sectional, option to add 5-year accidental damage protection plan for 18% of the sectional’s price. Should we buy the protection plan?
