Maybe more of a non frugal rant? So many times I see on social media that people are selling their washer or dryer, in full working order, but used, because......
The other part of the set stopped working and they just "had to get a new matching pair".
So is this smart because the remaining appliances is also probably going to go soon since the other part of the set broke, or crazy that people replace both appliances when ones breaks?
For context, our dryer came with the house and is at least 20 years old. Our washer has new because the old one broke. I later fixed the old one so now we have two washers! It's actually really useful, btw. #finance
