Need a reliable car.
I’m going to preface this by saying that I realize cars are not BIFL, but I just want to maximize my dollars with a good, safe, reliable car that will last a long while.
Was in a car accident recently and my car was totaled. Have to unfortunately purchase a vehicle now when prices seem to be at an all time high. I would prefer an SUV and have been looking at the Toyota RAV4. In my area the price of a new RAV4 is only $500 more than ones that are a few years old and used. I know that Toyotas hold their value well, but this seems crazy to me. Anyway, would anyone recommend or not recommend this car and why?
Also any other vehicles that you would recommend as good, long lasting brands. Thank you
