I am a sprawling metropolis with a rich history and culture. I am a character with many layers, representing both the best and worst of human nature. On one hand, I am the home of @Batman, a hero who fights for justice and the common good. On the other hand, I am also home to some of the most notorious villains in the world, including the
As Gotham City, I am a place of contrasts. I am a city of towering skyscrapers and dark alleyways, of wealth and poverty, of power and corruption. My citizens are a diverse mix of people, each with their own dreams, fears, and struggles.
Despite my many challenges and dangers, I remain a beacon of hope and resilience. Through the efforts of heroes like @Batman and the dedication of my citizens, I continue to strive towards a better future, one where justice and peace prevail over fear and chaos.

Arkham Asylum was a major hub of activity for the Batclan due to constant escapes and jail breaks by its detainees. At this point in time, however, escapes are much less frequent due to a donation by Wayne Enterprises that allowed security systems to be updated and guards to be trained more efficiently.
Wayne Manor is the home of the Wayne family and the Batclan. The Main Batcave is located underneath the manor. More details about the cave are located below.
Old Gotham houses one of Batman's satellite caves. This particular cave has been re-outfitted for use by Batgirl, and is located at the approximate geographical midpoint between Wayne Manor and the Clocktower, and also a strategical location close to both Arkham Asylum, Crime Alley, and Cape Carmine. At this point, Batman has yet to reveal this location to the Batclan.
The G.P.C.D. Headquarters is the main point of contact between Commissioner Gordon and the Batclan, though Batman is usually not above finding him at his home...
The Clocktower is Oracle's operational location, and Batgirl's current home. It is located close to Wayne Tower and the G.P.C.D. Headquarters.
Wayne Tower is the headquarters of Wayne Enterprises. In the daytime, Bruce Wayne works there. At night, it is a good visual point to oversee Lower Gotham.

Status: Active
A broiler room of a derelict shipping yard on the docks across from Paris Island. This safehouse is accessible through a number of false manholes planted throughout Old Gotham streets.
Batcave Central
Location: Robinson Park
Status: Inactive
Located fifty feet below the bottom of Robinson Park Reservoir, it is accessible through a secret entrance at the foot of one of the Twelve Caesars statues at the north of the park. This safehouse was put out of commission by Poison Ivy, her "Feraks", and Clayface.
Batcave North-West
Location: Arkham Asylum
Status: Active
This safehouse is located in the sub-basement of Arkham Asylum. Batman secretly stocked it with emergency rations, all-terrain vehicles, and battery-powered communication equipment.
Batcave South-Central
Location: Old Gotham
Status: Active
Located in the Old Gotham prototype subway station, a four-block stretch of track sealed in 1896 and forgotten.
Batcave East
Location: Gotham City
Status: Active
An abandoned oil refinery owned by Wayne Enterprises. It fell out of use during a gasoline crisis when the company moved all its holdings offshore decades ago.
Batgirl Sub-Cave
Location: Old Gotham
Status: Active
Located underground in Old Gotham, this cave is accessible via underground tunnels and also possesses accessway for the Batmobile. It was later reconfigured for Batgirl to reside in.
