The 'Morning Routine' videos lied. There was no journaling. There was no lemon water. There was just me staring at a pile of laundry for 10 minutes wondering if I really need to work.
Let’s see your 'Real Morning'—describe the messiest thing in your sightline right now. 👀👇🏻

The morning routine is a mess, and my hands don't know what to do with themselves because they’re missing a habit. But instead of a cigarette, I’m holding a pen. It’s not as 'cool,' but I can breathe, so I’ll take the win.

I love this! That’s real morning energy right there, staring at the chaos, hands hovering, trying to figure out what to do first. Honestly, holding a pen instead of a cigarette? That’s major win vibes ✍️✨ Not Instagram-perfect, but real, mindful, and alive. I’ll take that over lemon water and journaling any day. 👏

Thanks for the encouragement! The pen is officially mightier than the nicotine today. I’ll keep writing my way through the mess! ✍️✨

It's always a mess when you woke up specially your hair first thing to do find a comb and a mirror 😁😁😁

Exactly! The morning videos show everyone waking up with perfect beach waves and a glow. Meanwhile, I look like I’ve been through a wind tunnel. Finding a comb is the first workout of the day. 🏃‍♂️💨

Trying to give up nicotine? It is a hard battle - I began to seriously consider giving up cigarettes in 2018 and it took me 6 years to finally stop (smoked my final cigarette January 31 2024) - and I still get the occasional craving.

Six years of trying and now over two years officially quit —that’s incredible, MJR. Huge respect. 🙌🏻
It’s actually really sobering to hear that even after two years (congrats on passing the anniversary last month!), those cravings still sneak in. It proves it’s not about a 'perfect' transformation, but just choosing to keep that pen in hand instead of a smoke, every single day. Thanks for the perspective from the other side of the battle! 🤗
