Winter Coat Recommendations for a Floridian Moving to Canada
Hi, all! My family and I (31F, 31F, 3M, 7 m/o F) are pursuing a move to Ottawa, Toronto, or Montreal before next winter. I am from Florida, but I have lived in Gothenburg, Sweden and in Boston, MA (neither of which are as cold as where we’ll be headed). I have no idea what specifically I should be looking at coat-wise. We are homebodies. I do not exercise. I do not run. I do not jog. But I would like to be able to stay warm while taking my kids out to play in the snow. Otherwise, I would be walking around town, likely while using public transit. What should I be looking for materials-wise (or even specific recs if you have them)?
