Classical chess unbeaten streaks currently ongoing into 2025
Hi everyone, these are the current unbeaten runs in classical chess of at least 20 games heading into 2025 (active players only). I keep track of them just for fun/information, if there are any mistakes or players that I missed please let me know ;)
60- Eltaj Safarli (Azerbaijan)
52- Vladislav Artemiev (Russia)
46- Aleksey Grebnev (Russia)
44- Aram Hakobyan (Armenia)
42- Dennis Wagner (Germany)
41- Raunak Sadhwani (India)
33- Andrey Esipenko (Russia)
26- Wang Hao (China), Nihal Sarin (India), Bogdan Daniel Deac (Romania)
24- Nguyen Nogc Truong Son (Vietnam), Ma Qun (China), Daniil Dubov (Russia)
21- Lu Shanglei (China), Daniil Yuffa (Spain) \*
\* Yuffa is currently playing in the Spanish National Championship so it can change before January.
This year there were other major streaks that ended, for example : Vokhidov (63), MVL (73), Christiansen (103).
