A full time job doesnt leave any time to do anything else. Im just flabbergasted by people who claim that "40 hours a week is nothing"
Sleep from 12AM to 7AM
Get up, get ready for work, drive to work, lunch break, work, get back from work, thats all the time from 7AM to 6 PM.
This leaves you with some 5 hours of free time. But you are tired after work. And there are groceries, cooking, errands, doctors etc etc.
The weekends are spent doing laundry and cleaning and sometimes going out.
And then there are people out there who claim that they work 45 hours or more every week and still have time to go to the gym 15x a month or supposedly to read 20 books every month.
Even if you need just 1.5 hours for the gym with commute, thats another 22-23 hours besides your 160-170 work hours in a month. An extra half week of full time work.
If you read only super short books and need just 3 hours to get through then thats another 60 hours besides your 160-170 work hours in a month. An extra 1.5 weeks of full time work.
Like how can you work, do these activities and on top manage the household etc. Just doesnt seem possible unless there is a housekeeper or home office involved and even then its a stretch.
