AWS EC2 for Selenium
- Key advantage: EC2 provides Linux or Windows servers in the cloud, perfect for running Selenium tests headless.
- Setup:
1. Launch an EC2 instance (Ubuntu or Windows).
2. Install Java, Maven, Chrome/Firefox, and the WebDrivers.
3. Clone the Selenium project from GitHub.
4. Run tests headless using xvfb-run or via ChromeOptions.
- Scalability: Ability to run multiple instances in parallel to reduce execution time.
- CI/CD integration: Compatible with AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild to automate tests after each commit.
