Lasagna rolls (also called lasagna roll-ups) are individual portions of lasagna made by rolling cooked lasagna noodles around a filling, then baking them in sauce and cheese. Typical ingredients: Lasagna noodles Ricotta cheese Mozzarella cheese Parmesan cheese Ground beef or Italian sausage (optional) Spinach (optional) Marinara or tomato sauce Italian seasoning, garlic, salt, and pepper How to make them: Cook the lasagna noodles until just tender. Mix the filling (ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, seasonings, and optional spinach or meat). Spread the filling on each noodle and roll it up. Place the rolls seam-side down in a baking dish with marinara sauce. Top with more sauce and mozzarella. Bake at 190Β°C (375Β°F) for about 30β35 minutes, until hot and bubbly. They're great because they're easy to serve, freeze well, and have all the flavor of traditional lasagna in individual portions.
