I am just printing as a hobby, but the computer that I run the slicer on is basically an overstuffed potato. Currently I'm just running Anycubic's slicer to load and modify my prints before sending them to the printers and Im starting to learn more 3D design and have played around with some programs. Both seem to run really sluggish on my pc setup.
The computer we are currently using is very slow and it is in a remote part of the house with the printers. It would be convenient to move to a more comfortable part of the house like the living room/bedroom to work on print designs. So I am thinking about getting a laptop that I can devote (mostly) to the printers. Since its just a hobby, financial I can't dump a ton of money into a high end laptop, so my budget would have to stick around 500$-600$ max range
What would be a good laptop in that price range, or what sort of specs should I be looking for?
I will also note that I don't know a lot about computers or specs. #technology source
