Brand of Batteries? What has worked good? What hasn't?

Hello,

Finally at the point where I need to start designing my electrical system. My question for y'all is what brand of batteries do y'all like? And which brand should I stay away from? Also.. is there a website/app that'll tell me how many watts I'll need for the electronics I plan on running?

Thanks for any info y'all can give? Or if y'all can point me in the right direction?
