More progress over my winter project, full time van build
Been casually sharing progress on my van build more so for my own documentation because there seems to be lots of haters out there but u can’t appease everyone. This van started out as a rush/panic build as I lost my place to live and refuse to spend my hard earned money on some rich guy that owns an apartment complex but thanks to my sister and mother for letting my stay the winter at there place it’s turned into to quite the learning experience and morphed into a passion project that I’m very excited for, since I last posted walls and floors I’ve got a fridge heater kitchenette misc drawers and cabinets made all buy hand my own two hands very little has been ikea ect. It’s taking quite along time and I’m no handyman many mistakes and challenges along the way and every aspect of my build needs tweaking and polishing and making perfect but those final steps are approaching but like any project it’s never truly done. After the interior I’ll do a roof rack with solar and some technology/convenience upgrades, thanks to my mother for making my kick ass insulated divider and helping with making bug screens and insulated pieces for the back doors and side door and window covers with storage for all of course,
If any of you that are currently doing van life full time have any lessons or after thoughts u wish u added ? I would appreciate it, I’m planning more lightning a shower and toilet and a/c and a Maxx air vent and windows and but since it’s so cold where I’m from it’s gotta wait till spring
