Job Role: Human Resource Associate
Tools/ Skills skills required: Laptop provided by the company, communication skills, and negotiation.
I am working in the Team Ops, where the management considers us to be the heart of every organization. Without HR, there will be no manpower, no jobs, and no services in the market. We are the ones who attract candidates who will fit into our company. We are also responsible for retaining them. Aside from that, we are also the unlicensed doctors of those demotivated employees. When they feel unsatisfied, want to quit, or have some disputes about their job, we are the ones who provide therapy or counselling. If you want to raise something like your salary or want to report a complaint, you can reach out to us. Want to file for vacation leave, sick leave, or emergency leave, I got you! Dispute in your salaries and other benefits, don't worry, I am here to explain it to you. 😍👌
TBH, This is not the role that I dreamed of achieving. But fate leads me here, and I tell you, I don't have any regrets about why I pursued studying human resources. I learned a lot in life when I started working in HR. One of the things I realized is that every job has a different level of expertise. And this job ain't easy. Every time I talk to my husband about my work, I always tell him, "Employees like you are lucky because you have HR.. You have someone to reach out to. But how about us? We, HR's,, ending up lifting up each other or the worst, ourselves only while handling other's problems as well."
But in the end, this is the profession I pursued and always wanted to develop. I know I am here with a purpose; that's why even though the wage given to us is not that competitive, I still want to grow here and help other people find work and help them grow as well.
