Can we expect a remaster of Dragon Quest VIII someday?
**It's all in the title...**
There was a time when I played **Dragon Quest VIII**; I must have been around 14 years old.
It was my very first Dragon Quest game, and it's the one that introduced me to and made me fall in love with the universe of this game.
It's been almost 20 years since the game was released in Europe, and I dream of playing it again in a modernized HD version...
Does anyone have any information on whether Square Enix might be working on a remaster of this game?
I'd love to revisit this masterpiece, and it would also be a great opportunity to introduce the franchise to a younger generation of players.
It was the first fully 3D game in the series, which makes it much more accessible for younger gamers.
I'm throwing a message in a bottle out there—just in case someone knows something...
