Am I living in a war zone? π
We just finished celebrating Chinese New Year, and during that time, sleepless nights are normal because almost every neighbor sets off firecrackers or fireworks. Now itβs Eid Mubarak, and my Muslim friends are doing the sameβfireworks going off until 1β2 a.m.! That's the reason I didnβt sleep well last night. Honestly, this is something unique to my country. We cannot make any complaint. π

Not a fan i see. I totally get it. My jersey actually caught one and almost burnt me. Lets just say, next time im only watching the ones on tv

Haha it really does sound like a war zone. π
π But also kind of beautiful in its own way, so many cultures celebrating with so much energy! Since Mauritius is a multiracial island, Iβve had similar moments where fireworks go on all night, especially during big festivals, but not only, it's also during football league, π not great for sleep, but definitely memorable. π

Today is the first of the festival, definitely they will play fireworks . π©

Here we had no fireworks but slept late after 2am. Woke up late in the morning but done before 2 pm. Have some rest!
