Do you guys actually read the full theory text, or just the 'important' chapters??
I have a question. I enjoy reading and studying literature on my own, and I want to learn more about literary theory deeply. However, I've heard online from some people that you don't actually have to read the entire theoretical text instead, you can choose which chapters are important or relevant to the studies of literary theory.
And now I'm so confused 😭I'm not sure if I should read the entire text or just particular chapters. And would it help me in my literary theory studies if I did?????? Or would it only be additional information I would learn that wouldn't be useful for my studies of lit theory?
