I had the choice to build it the other way. Data lives on a server, I analyse it, maybe I sell it, maybe I mention that somewhere in paragraph fourteen of a privacy policy nobody reads. I chose not to.
Not because it was easier... it was more work. I just don't want your data. What I actually collect is your email and your install ID. That's it.
