Best games for kids and best pick up and play games
I've only recently got an Xbox One X, to accompany a Switch that my kids and I use.
What games are the best ones to get? At the moment I've picked up Mirror's Edge Catalyst, Fifa 21, NHL 22, Madden NFL 19 & Forza Horizon 4, as all were available dirt cheap, and I've downloaded the free games Brawlhalla, Fortnite, & Fall Guys.
I'm not interested in any first person shooters, or anything that's rated 18 age wise.
It is unlikely I'll be getting GamePass, and we won't be using online multiplayer. We're not heavy gamers, so the likes of GamePass won't be worth it for us, as the Xbox will only probably be used for a combined couple of hours a week.
Types of games I am interested in:
* Any couch co-op games that are kid friendly - Already have It Takes Two & Unravel 2 on the Switch.
* Local multiplayer games
* Games that you can just pick up and play for 15-20 mins and have fun doing so, so instantly accessible ones. Probably more arcadey in style rather than deep immersive story based games.
* Games that my kids (8 & 10yrs) will enjoy!
Any recommendations?
