Why was this car such a letdown... It looks stunning
Recently I got into some debates regarding the second gen Acura NSX. There seems to be this hate surrounding this car, opposite to the love and admiration that the first gen gets.
Now on the paper this car should have been good, it was a product of its time, hence the hybrid tech onboard. It was objectively fast and absolutely stunning without being overly stylized or aggressive. I even did little research about its designers and it was designed by California born and raised Michelle Christensen. whos work generally revolved around Acura mid sized sedans and basic rental fleet models. Car looks amazing objectively, I got the chance to see it in Las Vegas and without mistake is a special one. In the era where over stylized dubai specials were taking over, to me it stood out in the best sense of the word. The only hate seems to be from its price and hybrid tech on board. was hybrid really such a deal killer? What are your thoughts are there any flaws to the car? Did car have any known issues to reliability? was it ever truly put to the test?
