Its been way too many years since these useless tooltips, can we finally have an option to get rid of them?
It's been extremely annoying and has so many blatant usability issues.
* there rarely ever been something more punishing and irreversible in the game than picking wrong profession specialization or incorrectly allocated profession knowledge point yet it pushes this in your face every time you log on a character, even if you deliberately not spending it because you want to see how profession market works evolves during the expansion
* closing the tooltip with the "X" button will close it but it won't remember, as soon as you relog it will show again
* when you have an army of profession alts its even more ridiculous to deal with
* with the UI edit mode you can have scenarios when you cant even press the close button or part of it just goes out of screen (even the entire text if you put the menu bar to the top edge)
* so many way less crucial UI settings in the menu yet there is no way to opt out of the very least helpful tips that only help people who have absolutely no experience with the game
Please for the love of Azeroth, give us a checkbox in the Options menu to disable them. This is a totally expectable request.
