What’s the weirdest item you’ve ever repaired instead of replacing?
I’m curious what people have actually managed to keep alive instead of throwing away. It could be something completely ridiculous, like an appliance held together with tape, an old piece of furniture, a favorite pair of shoes, or some random household item that probably should have been replaced years ago. Maybe you fixed it yourself, found a cheap workaround, or just refused to admit it was time to let it go. I want to hear about the repairs that probably made absolutely no sense financially but somehow worked.
