Why does nobody talk about the fact that the EU helped support and fund the Janjaweed/RSF in Sudan?
Whenever people talk about foreign meddling in the Sudanese civil war, it seems like people always hyperfixate on how the UAE and Russia have supported the RSF, but for some reason, people seem to completely ignore the fact that over the past few years, the EU has helped support and fund the RSF

>SPIEGEL and the ARD magazine "Report Mainz" had already revealed in 2016 that Brussels was providing the Sudanese authorities with training and equipment - also so that they could prevent migrants from traveling on to Europe . This cooperation was financed from a fund to combat the causes of flight.
Now that the RSF have started a massive civil war in Sudan and are committing genocide, I feel like this should be a huge fucking story. But yet, I've not seen anybody bring this up. Why is this so?
