The active Low Pressure Area (LPA) being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) to the east of the Bicol Region has intensified into a minor Tropical Depression, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA).
If it fully develops into a storm upon entering the PAR today or tomorrow, it will be named Kristine by PAGASA.
