Recommended app for bird watching: Merlin Bird ID. I recorded this while standing still near a pond. Every time the app hears a bird using the phone’s mic it moves the species to the top of the list. Normally I mount my phone on my bike and ride as slowly as I can to allow the app to gather all the species within about 30 meters of my phone. I’ve found dozens of species that I didn’t recognize/didn’t see. The app makes it easy!
