AI free ride is almost over
I see the light at the end of the tunnel for AI.
The cost of AI is going up. We already know openAI and Anthropic are not making money. We are seeing the cost going up.
I’m seeing AI solutions to government regulated industries being more expensive than the current models that exist. I know this is a small thing but it’s a sample of what I think is going to happen.
In some industries where prices are fixed due to govt regulation you cannot pass the cost on to customers. When the AI solution is already more expensive than the labor expense currently on the books that is not a long term solution.
I’m excited to see AI break. Besides the fact it’s not sustainable, we can’t support the infrastructure… excited to see it go!
