Tangled family, how are you all today? I hope everyone is doing well.
Today is the 25th day of Ramadan. These last days of Ramadan remind us to increase our عبادات (worship) and good deeds.
In Islam, Zakat is not only about giving wealth, but also about purifying our hearts and helping those in need. Allah says in the Quraan:
Establish prayer and give Zakat.
(Quraan 2:43)
Giving Zakat does not decrease wealth; instead, Allah puts barakah (blessings) in it and spreads love and mercy in society.
If Allah has given us something, then the needy also have a right in it.
Tangled family, how is your day going today? And how are your Ramadan days going?
May Allah give us all the ability to give Zakat and Sadaqah. Ameen.
