Jobs with Associates in Biological Sciences
I went to my local community college and just finished my associates in biology this summer. Unexpectedly some things came up, and I have to move to Austin TX by next month. I'm stressing about getting a job while also finding a college that will accept me as a transfer student. Because it's already so late, I can't apply for college until at least next year and hope that somewhere in Austin accepts me even though I'm from out of state and basically taking a gap year.
For now, I'll need to find a job that can hire me immediately and I know job prospects are already low for someone with an associates in Biology, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any jobs that are likely to hire even with all of that. Is there a way to connect with people either on LinkedIn or elsewhere, tell them my situation, and hopefully convince them to give me a chance? Or should I stick with a service job for now.
