Job just told us today we are not allowed to call 911
I am getting trained at my job and during training they told us unless we are being robbed, we are not allowed to call 911. We have to talk to our manager first. Someone asked well what about in the case of an active shooter and the trainer goes, well you should be hiding you shouldn’t be calling anyone because you have to be quiet.
I thought to myself what about medical emergency? Someone having a heart attack in the store and you can’t call 911? I don’t care if I get fired, I would rather try to save someone’s life than to not call 911 in case of emergency!!
