Should I be worried about our photographer
My family has never had family pictures done and finally bit the bullet and paid for professional photos. I made a Facebook post asking for recommendations and one of my FB friends recommended a photographer. We absolutely loved her work but couldn’t find a place where she had reviews listened (probably my first red flag)
She is quick to respond and I pay for my deposit (the full amount of the photoshoot) and schedule a shoot. About 6 hours before we are supposed to meet, she sends me a message stating that it was supposed to rain. I had looked at the forecast and it had less than a 5% chance of rain and was a beautiful day. She tries to reschedule in September (6 Weeks after our original shoot) and I told her that I did NOT want fall photos and was worried that the leaves would start changing in our area and that 6 weeks was a long time to wait. I also mentioned that it was supposed to be a beautiful sunny day and that I was genuinely confused why we were rescheduling.
She finally agreed to take the photos. We spent around 20 minutes (my toddler was acting like a jerk) and then I was told they would be done in 7 days. It has now been almost a month and we haven’t heard ANYTHING from this photographer. I messaged her on the status of our photos on FB yesterday and she has yet to respond but has been actively posting on FB to schedule “deal or no deal” shoots and fall/Christmas minis.
At what point do I start to make a larger fuss? Even a quick “I’m behind so sorry!” Would suffice me. But the absolute no communication is making me worried
