Window Tint For Cross Country Travel
So we want to add window tint to our van and we'll be trying to aim for all lower 48 states for sure. This makes me concerned as to how dark we should go with window tint because each state law is different, of course. Our AM window that we'd installed automatically came with a 17% solar tint on it, which in that case, I'd think that 20% for the back windows would be the choice since we'd want all the back windows to match. I think with front windows, we'd go for 35% at most and up to 70%. I'm just wondering if any of you have darker tint on your van/vehicle and have been to most states, and if so, have you been hassled for your window tint? Any suggestions as to how light and dark we should go when it comes to cross-country travel? TIA as always :)
