Potential Job Not Giving Enough Prior Notice
My sister has been applying for jobs and we were out yesterday at around 12 doing some grocery shopping when one of them (a restaurant job in s place that hasn’t opened yet) called and told her to come in at 4 that same day for orientation and to wear the uniform which she did not have yet. She ended up not going. For a little more context, we are college students without cars so it does take quite a bit for us to get around and she currently didn’t even have anything she could have worn to go for the orientation. I don’t know why they expected her to drop everything she was doing and cancel any plans she had for the day to go for it.
