Lost spark for programming

I used to love coding. I wrote stories using Python, then looked into HTML to make a simple webpage full of my favorite gifs. But after some time, I have slowly lost my spark for computer science. I was thinking maybe it was burnout, so I took a break. Then I guess that break went on longer than I wanted and when I tried my hand back at HTML, that spark was gone. I literally said to myself, "I don't think I want to do this anymore."

I felt bad for dropping programming completely, because if you're good at it, keep at it, and put your certificates on a resume, it can attract employers and get you employed. Which I am not currently. I don't know if I should bite the bullet so I can have a higher chance at getting hired, but how can I if coding at one point just sapped the life out of me?

I see what people do with coding, and I think it's amazing. It's so cool to see what work people put into creating sleek web interfaces, or how little games function. Lately, I've been curious about how people program stuff, which makes me ask the question, is it even worth it to go into programming? How can I if everything I learned left me feeling uninspired and drained?

If anyone has suggestions or advice, please comment. I appreciate it in advance.
