Hi there I am going blind, how are you today?

Well okay, maybe not technically blind, and only in one eye, but I noticed yesterday I was having some serious trouble reading things, and when I woke up this morning I noticed the vision in the bottom half of my left eye was occluded by a shadow - which over an hour later is still there. So I have something going on that shouldn't be.

In 75½ hours from now I do have an appointment scheduled with the eye doctor - Tuesday A.M. at 8:45 - guess we'll find out then what is going on...

This is not a problem focusing, this is a very dim view possible from the lower half of my eye almost as if my eye is wearing a facemask...

I had cataract surgery on both eyes 18 months ago.

Probably not an option. I cancelled an appointment for the third week of January and this is the earliest they could schedule me back in.
