Now the custom of wearing watches has decreased. But a while back, there has been a rise of automatic clocks. Then came digital or battery operated watches. In these watches, time often went back and forth. The older the clock, the more it's problematic. Then it would have been reset to standard time. And with time its rhythm becomes the same again.
This is exactly how biological clocks are in the body. The basic standard clock of the body is in the mind. This clock made of about 20 thousand neurons is in the brain's hypothalamus. All other small and large clocks of the body make rhythm with the same master clock. Our sleep awakening is combining the timing of different functions of the body with different bodily systems with the master clock.
When we change the time zone to high speed ride. Just like we go to another time zone in a plane in a short time, we get jet lag. Our digestive system gets affected. Mental and physical performance decreases. Mood changes are anxiety. And early sleeping affects the hours of awakening. And then the body sets itself according to the new time zone.
In such eleven months of a year, due to faith and physical defeats, our rhythms get spoiled. For the sake of this, Allah Almighty has given one month of Ramadan. By completing the complete arrangement of Ramadan, we not only set the timings of Imani clocks. Rather, physical clocks also synchronize back to their master clock in the best way.
May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to gather the blessings of this month of Ramadan.
