How do German communities typically respond to individuals…

How do German communities typically respond to individuals who engage in legal sex work?

I am curious about how sex work is viewed in countries where it is legal, particularly in Germany.

I come from a very conservative country, where sex workers are often looked down upon, and clients may even face public humiliation or physical punishment if they are discovered. Because of this, I am trying to understand how things differ in more sex-positive societies such as Germany or the Czech Republic, especially in cities like Berlin or Prague.

Specifically, I am wondering about everyday social situations. For example, if a 60-year-old man regularly brings different young women to his apartment, and neighbors suspect that they may be sex workers (even if he is discreet and does not openly say so), how would people generally react?

Would neighbors judge or lose respect for him? Would they confront him, complain, or try to force him to leave? Or would they simply mind their own business, as long as he is not causing any disturbance or noise?

I am especially interested in understanding how German society typically responds in such situations. Thanks.
