Gamefound over Kickstarter?
So I recently played Marvel United again, and I decided to check the Kickstarter campaign CMON did back then to see if some expansions aren't KS exclusive. I was surprised to notice that CMON had stopped doing KS campaigns since 2023, and I got worried they had gone bankrupt or something (haha, funny). Then I noticed they moved to Gamefound and they are doing very interesting campaigns over there. So naturally, I wondered what could have made them move to Gamefound. I have always used Kickstarter, but to be fair, the Gamefound interface is kind of nicer. Is there anything else I'm missing here?
As a boardgamer I'm interested in learning if the pledge system is easier (KS addons are in the beggining a struggle until you get used to them), and also if there's any other advantage. And as a boardgame designer I'm also curious to learn if there's better conditions for publishing your game's campaign there, maybe more people use Gamefound??
