Newer NVIDIA drivers need to have 0.5 gamma with external monitor
**Monitor:** AOC CU34G2XP using DP to USB-C
**Problem:**
Before NVIDIA driver updates (3 updates ago) I could run monitor with default driver gamma (1). After a certain release to have same colors I must set gamma to 0.5 or else I would end with a washed whitish image.
I tried to re-install drivers from fresh but always get this problem. If I revert to 3 releases ago it works as expected with gamma 1.
Current installed: 596.49 Tue May 12, 2026.
Always ran default settings.
HDR is off. (Setting HDR ON fixes the problem of gamma, but HDR sucks lot of artifacts)
