Be careful not to fall in love with your chatbot. That evaluation recognized that GPT-4o's "audio capabilities" (voice) could "facilitate more human-like interactions with the model." The quality of that synthesized voice is exceptional, and as OpenAI itself recognizes, it can have advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, that can be helpful for lonely people, but it can also isolate us more and leave us hooked on our relationship with a machine. They explain it in that report:
