2026 World Cup could be a very different kind of tournament.
More teams mean more chaos, more upsets, and more unfamiliar matchups.
The three teams on my watchlist are Argentina, Brazil, and France. Argentina has the defending-champion pressure, Brazil is experiencing the eternal “finally their year again?” question, and France feels dangerous because of their depth. I’m not sure which one I trust most yet, but all three feel like teams that will impress us deeply.
One thing I also noticed recently: Setanta Sports announced the World Cup rights in Georgia(not the state but the country), with matches available through its platform there. It reminded me that the viewing experience can be very different depending on where fans are watching from.
