Bungie Has Gone Silent After Promising Marathon Open Trial Deluxe Edition Buyers the Full Game
It’s been now 12-13 days since Bungie originally promised buyers of the discounted Deluxe Edition a full copy of Marathon before any wording changed on the PlayStation store page. There are plenty of replies from others on their last communication that they haven’t received their game.

Also, Sony has changed purchases retroactively from the “Deluxe Edition” to a new store listing that didn’t exist before a day or two ago, “Deluxe Upgrade” after the time of purchase. Sony support won’t refund due to playing the trial, and they won’t credit the base game to accounts citing the publisher is responsible, and Bungie has been radio silent on this issue. “More info on timing will come soon” feels like it should be sooner than two weeks.
Typically a Deluxe Edition upgrade is listed under the Add-ons section. This is the only time I’ve ever seen one listed as if it’s a separate edition, probably the only way to convert the license retroactively. So this whole thing is just at a dead standstill.
