How much would you pay for a consumer SLM metal printer?

I have a seen a few metal printer projects recently, but they cost in the range of 10-15k. I wondered if there would actually be signficant demand for a consumer level machine at that price point. How much would you pay for such a machine and which requirements would it have to meet?
