LPT: avoid speculative / opinion "news"

It's amazing how many news articles and videos are simply speculating about what might be next or just rehashing already stated viewpoints.
If "news" stresses you out but you still want to know what is happening only read news that is bringing you verified facts.
Unless it is your business or you actually need to prepare for something, stop immersing yourself in apocalyptic speculation or sensational commentary.
Inspired by LPT: Never read fresh news. but I think my LPT is more accessible.
